Hi all,
Before we head into the last two weeks of October, I want to take a moment to reflect on this past week. Aside from the really great and unique storytelling this week also had some great words that, I think, made for some pretty interesting reads.
There’s nothing like a community coming together to share in a common goal. And special shout out to those who are participating every single day. Especially to those who have managed to string each word together to create a continuing story! I wish I had thought of that back on day one! You are all doing so brilliantly and I can’t wait to see the many pages of all this in the end. 👀

My favorite thing about this: it's a perfect representation of what "community" actually means.
-A community of writers exists...
-Everyone involved has the same goal: write, pen to paper, with the inclusion of a single word/theme.
-We all start out the SAME way. Pen in hand.
-And every participant meets that collective goal.
-Yet, somehow, we all end up with very different outcomes. Our unique perspectives lend to broad spectrum creative expressions.
-And instead of tearing each other apart over our creative differences, we applaud one another for our individuality.
It makes me think of a world less divided.
It makes me happy.
Thanks for the mentions!
