At this very moment two dozen of you are working diligently on your Secret Santa Plot Swap stories. I’m sure I speak for everyone when I say I’m very excited to get these 24 presents on December 22nd.
With just 5 1/2 weeks left in 2025 it’s a comfort to see so many stories bubbling to the surface.

Tomorrow will be a special TiF Day of Thanks email that will include the many messages that were left by those within the fiction community; whether reader or writer. Meaning, Weekly Issue #47 will arrive in your inboxes on Tuesday.
Top in Fiction is the place where fiction lives, but it’s also the place where a community of fiction writers and readers can come together every week to share in their mutual love (and respect) of fiction. Read the guidelines carefully:

If self-promoting, submit NO MORE THAN 2 stories! This is a strict rule that will be enforced.
Story must be Free-to-Read (No portion of it can be behind a paywall).
Story must be written in English.
We DO NOT accept stories written by AI. If we discover, at any time, that AI was used, the story will be removed.
