SECRET SANTA PLOT SWAP
Some of us countdown to Christmas. Here at TiF we are counting down to our Secret Santa day on December 22nd! Mark your calendars and join me at 10am where I’ll have my hand at doing a little gift giving and you’ll have 24 stories to read just before the New Year.
TiF’s FIRST ANTHOLOGY IS COMING - EYE SEE YOU
One thing that will help this, and all future anthologies, be a success will be you. That’s why I’m excited to share that the cover reveal will be on Monday, December 8th and I’ll be joined by the cover artist to talk about the process! Then, beginning December 15th, there will be a series of emails to meet the authors featured in this first anthology.
TiF SUMMIT 2026
And don’t forget our Summit that’s happening very soon! From January 15th to January 18th, it will be a fun-filled time! We’ll kick off with our Annual Recap of 2025 where I’ll share the numbers according to TiF and then transition right into our very own TiF Voices! Where 40+ people will participate and read something they’ve written, for your listening pleasure, Live on Substack one after another for 3 days. This event will then conclude with my State of the Union on January 18th where I’ll share some amazing plans for the future of Top in Fiction as well as TiF Press and how we intend on helping bring fiction to the masses through growth and much more!

Top in Fiction is the place where fiction lives, but it’s also the place where a community of fiction writers and readers can come together every week to share in their mutual love (and respect) of fiction. Read the guidelines carefully:

Share fiction you’ve read AND/OR fiction you’ve written. (Self-promotion of your fiction is welcome!)
If self-promoting, submit NO MORE THAN 2 stories! This is a strict rule that will be enforced.
Story must be Free-to-Read (No portion of it can be behind a paywall).
Story must be written in English.
We DO NOT accept stories written by AI. If we discover, at any time, that AI was used, the story will be removed.
