I have not written in many years and recently started writing again, sharing my first post here. I'd be honored if anyone would be interested in having a read.
The two that matter the most are: STORIES, AFTER EIGHT: THE TRUTH OF WHO WE ARE, an ongoing Novella that takes place in three different timelines in both Berlin, and Paris. This is the one I read out on my 'Stack, just because I can, but also print it on my 'Stack underneath: https://benwoestenburg.substack.com/p/the-truth-of-who-we-are-03b?r=254e8w
Things are slowing down now with my PART ONE of LOCKSLEY coming to an end. There's no point in putting up links to the PART TWO if it's behind the PAYWALL, is there? SCI-FI FRIDAY is almost at an end with my posts, which will leave me with STORIES, AFTER EIGHT as my only entry in the future. Why am I secretly giving myself a high-five?
P.s. I think I've done the time difference right that it was 16th in the U.S and the 17th here in Australia - but if it falls out of the window I totally understand

Hi Erica,
I actually have two for this week : -
First is a warm and cosy family scene with our fantasy hero, Grimbauld : -
https://open.substack.com/pub/danielodonnell/p/hearth?r=2bfxud&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web
And next a little nasty 50 word horror story : -

Thanks again for organising all this Erica. It really is much appreciated.
It's the first time I've shared the sixth chapter online! Let's get into some particulars about what's going on with Emilie: https://open.substack.com/pub/dragonwriterluc/p/whats-a-dragon-chapter-6
This is part of a middle grade fantasy novel. I think this chapter in particular showcases the reason I used first-person present perspective for it.
I published episode 1 of my romance + fantasy serial on 08/15.
