Unfortunately, the Notion form isn’t working out as I had hoped so we are going back to the Google Form, for now. Apologies for the flip-flop on this, but I promise we’ll be remaining on Google Forms until I can iron out any issues moving forward.
Reminder: Today begins the TiF Summit 2026! There is a last minute update to the schedule. As any changes arise I will try to update the dedicated webpage. Please refer to THIS PAGE for the most accurate information.
Also, you DO NOT need to subscribe to any reader in order to be notified when they go Live for their reading. However, you should FOLLOW their Substack Profile. That will send you a notification through the Substack app.
Top in Fiction is the place where fiction lives, but it’s also the place where a community of fiction writers and readers can come together every week to share in their mutual love (and respect) of fiction. Read the guidelines carefully:
Only fiction shared between January 10 - January 16 on Substack!
Any story shared BEFORE the dates listed above will be removed.
This form will CLOSE at 10am EST on Sunday, January 18.
Share fiction you’ve read AND/OR fiction you’ve written. (Self-promotion of your fiction is welcome!)
If self-promoting, submit NO MORE THAN 2 stories! This is a strict rule that will be enforced.
Story must be Free-to-Read (No portion of it can be behind a paywall).
Story must be written in English.
We DO NOT accept stories written by AI. If we discover, at any time, that AI was used, the story will be removed.
