It’s time to look closer. 👁️ The cover for Eye See You has finally been revealed — and I can’t stop staring at it.

, this artwork captures the core of the anthology: that uneasy feeling of being seen, even when you’re alone. The muted tones, the sharpness of the gaze, the balance between beauty and dread — it’s everything we hoped it would be.
When I first saw this concept, I felt that quiet shiver you get when something looks back. It was the moment I knew: this was the right face for our collection.
THE CONCEPTS
A.C. was amazing to work with. Within just a few hours after our initial conversation she emailed me with some cover ideas she was envisioning for the Eye See You covers! And she couldn’t have nailed what I was thinking about any better than if I had done this exercise myself.
THE THUMBNAILS
It was just days later when I received the below thumbnails for cover options! I couldn’t believe the treasure trove of possibilities for a cover I hadn’t really given much thought about…until now…
NARROWING IT DOWN
I couldn’t spend my days staring at all 8 to choose my favorite. I had to really narrow it down! So, I chose 4 that I really liked for various reasons. Truthfully, I loved them all, but a decision had to be made and I had to be the one to make it.
THE TIMELINE
10/12/25 - Asked about the cover / received some ideas for what the cover could look like from A.C.
10/22/25 - Received 8 thumbnails
10/25 - 11/6 - We worked on the cover I landed on to get it perfect. Such as adding what the back cover and spine would look like.
Eye See You (A Horror Anthology) will be available March 13, but this is only the beginning. Soon, I’ll share the full table of contents — a lineup of writers whose work is just as haunting as this image.
Until then… don’t blink. 👁️
