Hi Erica, thank you to you and all the other involved in putting this together. With Eath Day and Arbor Day starting and ending this week, Im going to have plenty of fiction to enjoy on the topic! 💙
Such a wonderful, timely project. Thanks so much for pulling it together Julie and Claudia and thanks to you Erica for helping to promote. There are so many talented folks here.
Congrats everyone and thanks to the organisers and experts and of course to Erica for putting all this together. Look forward to getting stuck into some earthly fiction 🌏💚
Thank you Erica for this very special edition of Top End Fiction.
The link to my story - Life with birds in the fifty second world is correct, but the author listed isn’t me. Could you correct when you can to: Kate Bown, of Wild and Wonderful.
Thank you so much for the extra effort in getting the TiF Disruption posted.
Unfortunately, while my story, Silverback, has the correct link, the author link you posted is for another Substack author with the same initials. My author link, which I sent as part of this event registration, is @dakelly all lowercase, no spaces, and should pop up as Memoirs of a Mad Scientist.
Thank you for spreading the word, Erica. I truly appreciate the effort you put into supporting this Earth Day project, especially in your current condition. I hope that you'll get better soon ❤️🩹.
What a marvelous compendium with thoughts, as Jewish person, in mourning for the wonder that was Pope Francis who died on the Monday after Easter and his efforts to urge world leaders and all of us to seek repair for Climate Change.
Trained environmental scientist who has just published a novella about mass extinction/environmentalism (and dinosaurs) here! This is right up my alley, congrats on the hard work everybody and can't wait to start reading through all these! ☺️🌱
Hey that’s awesome! I went into science communication right out of env sci at university but if you (or anybody else reading this) ever want to chat about environmental communication my DMs are always open 🙂
Superb!

You are added to the list. No problem!
Jeezum, sorry for all my comment typos, too. Ack.
What an awesome concept!
And so uplifting. All this creative imagination!

Deepest apologies! This has been fixed.
Thanks so much Erica :)
Thanks for your time and effort, Erica. Much appreciated.
Thank you all for hosting this wonderful project and for inviting writers from every corner of the Earth.
Thanks for being here. It is exciting to see how far-flung we all are.

This should be fixed now. Apologies for the oversight there.

Yes his loss is felt throughout the world. What a kind man, dedicated to a life of pastoral service.

Thank you, Jack! Looking forward to reading your thoughts. Next time maybe you're up for a science & fiction collaboration.
Sure, always happy to donate writing to a good cause 🌍
We actually had a science & fiction collaboration with two scientists who answered questions to help us write informed climate fiction.

Well met, Jack. You might want to check out Hari Berrow’s Substack. She’s a clever environmental writer.
I will thank you!
Thank you so much! It would be interesting to talk about how climate fiction might fit into the field of environmental communication.
Can't wait to read everyone's work!
Me too!!
Same here!
