So far of the nearly 250 writers that will be in the TiF Annual Recap of 2024 less than 20 of you have filled out the form! This worries me as there are just 6 weeks left. I hope the delay is because you’re taking this list seriously and pouring over your past work to find that one story you loved writing from this year and want to select and not that you just don’t care one way or the other.
With that said, starting this Friday, November 15 I will be “@” mentioning everyone who hasn’t filled out the form to submit their best/favorite story of the year. It will be done alphabetically and 5-6 at a time. Every. Single. Day. This will be very time consuming for me to do but that’s just how much I care and it’s very possible that those featured just aren’t aware of this list I want to put together and make available to everyone in the new year.
So, if you want to spare me having to ping hundreds of people over the course of 45 days it would help me immensely if you would fill out this form at your earliest convenience. Just a reminder that this is only if you’ve been mentioned in any capacity in the weekly or monthly issues and the story you select can be any that you’ve written in 2024.
If after I’ve pinged everyone by December 15, whoever doesn’t send me their favorite story I will just use the last story that was featured in TiF.
I’ve also made the decision that only those who fill out the form will get the NEW medallion that will use the color currently being voted on in the POLL you can find HERE. Incidentally, this is also the post where you can find the button to submit your story and a list I put together (and update weekly) with everyone who is eligible to fill out the form. I’m updating the list with a “YES” by your name if you’ve filled out the form and I’ve confirmed it.
