I hate to be the bad guy here, and mention the big C of copyright… We’re not allowed to include a single line of copyrighted song or a poem without a permission regardless if the publication is for profit or not. Just crediting the artist is not enough. I was surprised to see a whole song cited in one of the stories in this edition.
Are you referring to the story “Dream On”? The artist who performed the song is Aerosmith and the writer of the song is Steven Tyler. Both of which are mentioned in the post. Unless there is another post I missed? Several mention and are about music in one way or another.
Yes, they are credited, but this doesn’t fulfil the copyright obligation to get explicit permission from Aerosmith/Steven Tyler to use the song lyrics in the story. Just wanted to make sure you’ve followed up and are free from copyright infringement.
Thank you for the inclusion!

Thank you for featuring my piece. It's an honour to be included.
It was neat to see our stories next to each other again. Thanks for including me, Erica!
Thank you for listing The Dead Village this week! I enjoyed writing this one and researching the actual Japanese folklore i woven into the story!
Thanks for the inclusion this week. "The Lich King" was one of those stories I had to force myself to finish, but I am glad it's out there now.
