WALL OF SERIALS
Check out our Wall of Serials where we have a dedicated page showing you ACTIVE stories:
The TiF Library is a comprehensive list of all stories recommended each week!
Over 2,000 stories to search and choose from!
Use it to find even more fiction to read!
Typically, when I’m late with sending these weekly emails there is always a reason. In this case, as it’s been for the past year, I’m thinking about serial fiction and the writers of serial fiction. How best to showcase the work that, actually, so many are doing, have been doing, and are considering starting up later this year? Unlike any other aspect of fiction writing, this one really does keep me up at night. And so…
CALLING ALL SERIAL FICTION WRITERS
* Past, Present, and Future
I have 4 questions that I’d love for you to answer. My idea is that everyone who writes serial fiction should answer them. The questions have nothing to do with your specific serial fiction and more to do with the how and the why. I’d like to go about writing up a large Post here specific to serial fiction with your answers. I may even do another Live where your answers are discussed with some old and new serial fiction writers from our very own community later on.
If you’d like to help me by answering just 4 questions, DM TiF Team and say, “I write serial fiction. What are your 4 questions?” and I’ll share them with you. All I ask is that you are actively, or have in the past, written and shared your serial fiction on Substack. If you are seriously considering putting up your own serial fiction on Substack, then say, “I intend ot write serial fiction. What are your 4 questions?” and I’ll share them with you.
SUBSCRIBER UPDATES
We are 32 subscribers away from 2,000 but more importantly, we are 8 Monthly Paid Subscribers away from our goal of paying for short story fiction and opening up our TiF Short Story of the Month Club!
If you want to help us reach that goal, become a MONTHLY update today!
QUESTION OF THE WEEK
Not so much a question but a POLL of the week! We’ve had some amazing contenders for our very first Murder Room display case! Now, without knowing who wrote it (please if you know this is you DO NOT share a link to your story or reveal who you are!) which piques your interest to want to know more about from our rather eccentric tour guide?
In truth, we may cross-post ALL of the stories but your vote will help us decide the order! You have 7 days.
Do you have a question you’d like to ask the readers/writers in our little fiction community? Let me know in the comments and I just might select it for a future weekly issue!
