I'm very excited for a quiet NYE after all the hustle and bustle with family shenanigans around Christmas. For some reason, we always cook crab legs for dinner. I'll skip the bubbly and have a glass of scotch and I guarantee my wife and I both crash an hour before the ball drops. Happy New Year everyone!
On New Year’s Eve we’ll be ordering Chinese food. I’d like to say we watch the ball drop and the special that leads up to it. But instead I put on The Honeymooners. When I was younger, my brother and I would watch the honeymooners marathon that would start right at midnight and run the entire day. One thing I’ve been thinking about trying is watching the TCM Marathon of the Thin Man movies this year.
My spouse and I are both introverts, so we'll be hiding at home, pretending New Year's Eve isn't happening. I do like making blackeyed peas on New Year's Day. I'm looking forward to switching over to 2026. Happy New Year's!

My other half and I don't do anything on New Year's because we live below the poverty line. Oh well. Still, I've always loved hiding away anyhow.
