With this weekly issue we’ve officially wrapped-up 2025. I want nothing more than to share “the numbers” with you on how we did but I’m holding on to them till the Annual Recap of 2025 on January 15th. I hope to see you then. But, before that, we will wrap-up December on Wednesday January 7th with our 12th Monthly Recap of 2025.
There’s a lot of things happening in 2026 but let’s take these last few days to enjoy what we’ve accomplished. Spend some time looking back and reflecting. It may not have been the best for all of us. Some of us may have had to deal with more than we anticipated. I know it was like that for me. Not to mention capping off the last 3 weeks of the year being sick! But that doesn’t mean we can’t look forward to a new year. Enter a space of reset.
On December 31st there will be a VERY important email being sent. It will discuss our plans for turning on PAID SUBSCRIPTIONS here at Top in Fiction. It will answer why, what you can expect, and how we intend on using any funds we receive due to this very important change.
With our Weekly Issue #1 I’m going to start having a “Question of the Week” to ask all of you and I hope you’ll join me in using them as a point of reflection, fun, and a time to sit and answer them. They will be open for everyone to answer.
Till then, have a Happy New Year!
And just because I can, here is an example:
QUESTION OF THE WEEK
What are your New Years Eve Plans? Do you go to friends/family to watch the ball drop and drink some bubbly? Stay home and watch it on tv? Eat certain food?
I’ll share my answer in the comments and you should too!
- Erica Drayton, Editor-in-Chief 😈

Thank you for all the hard work you put into Tif and for including my story in this issue. Happy new year everyone!
My other half and I don't do anything on New Year's because we live below the poverty line. Oh well. Still, I've always loved hiding away anyhow.
